Paradigm of Insanity - take a look...

On this page you shall see nothing more than a conglomeration of interesting words matched to absurd contextual imagery. Suffice to say, if you get lost along the way, don’t ask for directions...

The Continental Quilt (2007)

Don't make contingency plans!
You're preparing for pessimism...
Don't faulter at your footsteps!
You no longer believe in yourself...
Don't make excuses!
Be creative in other departments...

If you fail to plan ... you plan to fail
Don't work there because the pay is good
Work there because the comfort is good
Don't let other people bring you down
Rather let them bring you straight
Or let them help you forward

If you're lying under this duvet of doubt,
Toss around ... change sides of the bed
See life in a different light!

It's not a bad day, it's your day for mishaps...
It's not a fail, it's a chance to improve...
Give people the benefit of the doubt
Don't give in to common criticism
But be aware of those who mean well by it...

Get out of bed on the right foot
Sing the most beautiful note
Quote Shakespeare's most jovial piece
Listen to jolly music and sing along
Dance for no reason and scream!

Blessed be the day when happiness speaks
The sun shines brighter on that day
Cats and other beloved pets enjoy your presence
And the one you love dearly
Stays with you for eternity...
The World Through the Eyes of My Cat (2006)
I’m allowed to lounge all day in your office.
I am, I really, really am!
I’m allowed to be a strange little menace.
I am, I really, really am!

Though you feed me but twice a day,
I still love you as my family.
Though I never keep danger at bay,
You still love me as your family.

I know how much you talk about me
To all your marvellous mates.
Actually, I’m quite flattered to see
All your friends fill my plates!

I spoke to my sister, the bird-killer,
And she is utterly jealous
To see you hold me, drinking a Miller
And be so frivolous!

You love that I am over eight kilos
And that I’m really, really furry.
You love that I sleep on your pillows
And make you sneeze and look blurry.

As long as I can keep on eating my cheese,
And melted chocolates as I please.
As long as I can keep whining for food,
Until it actually tastes good.

I will keep entertaining you with my chirping,
Barking, saying “Mam” and burping.
I will fooling you into believing I’m innocent,
So that I don’t become translucent.

Yes, I’m fat, cuddly, adorable, playful,
Lazy – really lazy – and mischievous.
Yes, I smile a lot, always very cheerful,
Too relaxed, always sun-tanning, pure bliss.

Yes, I’m always hungry, food-moaner,
Immature – I’m only two years young!
Yes, I like to coax you with my horrid groan,
But for heaven’s sake, I’m no nun!

You guys can watch your silly telly
As long as you feed me first!
I will allow the cuddling on my tummy
But remember that I die of thirst

If you don’t feed me to the time.
I need a lot of attention!
Introduce me first to your guests,
Else you’ll get detention!

So I am blessed to have such a family
Whose main priority will always be me!

Live the life of Hamlet: A Parody (2004)

Stop procrastinating
And do something old fool!
Make quick decisions.
Portray your antic disposition
But expect no sympathy.

Accept that family deaths occur, regularly.
Don’t attempt to murder new members.
So what if their marriage is incestuous,
Rely on your TRUE mates-
Maybe kill your fake friends
But do it quickly and quietly.
Fall in love and then defy them-
They’ll only go mad and die later.
Kill your dead dad’s brother while
Harassing your poor mother.
But clean up after yourself-
Mom won’t enjoy the stains.
Fancy a chat with a gravedigger?
If that’s not good enough, talk to a skull-
At least you know it won’t interrupt you.
Check beforehand if eavesdroppers are behind.
You’ll have fun in a vigorous catfight
With your ex’s sublime sibling.
Sounds better if your step-parent
Kills their newly wed partner too.
Maybe you’ll actually go insane for real,
Then you’ll become an anti-socialistic human.
More people will dislike you,
More people will want you dead.

If you’re a big-screen fan,
Sicken your folks by creating a disturbing movie.
Make your Step-Dad/uncle want to murder you.
He’s gone mental anyway; you’ll be helping him.
Invite the King of England over for tea,
Discuss the future,
Only before he decides to take over your country
While you’re being killed by your ex’s sublime sibling.

Hamlet’s life is a busy and frantic life.
But you’ll end up dying too
So you won’t need to worry there.
You would have lived a histrionically hectic life
Well…where do you want to start?

Shadows adrift from fairytale lands (2005)

With the cooling of the evening breeze
Comes the awakening of the midnight crickets.
Sparkling field-parties in my backyard meadows.
Lost birds and bees rent a motel for the night in the nearest tree

And happy owners enjoy their company.
Every creature smiles upon my garden,
Which brightens the greenery upon the colours
Where the darkness begins to duck and run!

Soft pillows of musically-talented green clovers
Whisper between mind and heart,
Gather closer and share stories of sunny days
Before the rising of the heaven’s fire appears as dawn breaks.

Fairy-shaped shadows arouse all evening lives.
Shelter from enchanted wings which covers pride,
Hides fear, brings joy and fulfilment and grace,
Capture beauty, contentment, acceptance…relief!

Strange yet fascinating social groups gather:
Moths, mosquitoes, ants and antelopes…
Beetles, easels, caterpillars and worms…
Cats, dogs, hogs and knats!

Senior saints rest peacefully along the skirts
Where the patrolling of hard-shelled, armed beetles
Stand strong to protect the knowledgeable and carefree ones.
Life never ends even for the elderly!

No commander, leader, ruler. Everyone lives free!
Free from manipulation and stress. Free to fly!
Free to eat fresh fruit randomly and veggies all day!
Free as a flutterby, tupperfee…as a butterfly!

Delicately created homes, passed down from generations.
The pureness of relationships and hearts: inspiring, prospering.
Daffodils, lilies, sunflowers; all colours, all races!
Roses, hydrangeas, marigolds; all shapes and sizes!

All striving for unity!
Violence, cynicism, scepticism and malevolence: non-existent!
A neighbourhood of compassion, understanding, colour, vitality!
Flamboyance, elegance, sophisticated dancing of petals!
Eternal worldly smiles: accepted globally: expressed worldwide!
Superfluous difficulty in tasks, sombre justice of supreme ideas!
Slick, dazzling, personified characteristics of flowers
Draw the interest of rooted, handsome leaves: firm and flirtatious!

All love, no lust. True friendship, no betrayal.
Pollen as soft as talc and as yellow as lemon.
Vibrant colours as lively as the midnight life…
Silky stalks with fur coats live the high life
Accompanying the Geraniums to their banquets!

It’s the sensitive, heartfelt glory of the wildlife out there
…treat it with hospitality and care!

A Facade of Great Discomfort (2005)

“Mixing hazardous chemicals together
With the creations of a ticking bomb
One of which would not cause danger
To those around them, only to those
Who created it…”

A relationship of disagreement and dispassion;
One of impertinence and lack of understanding;
Increasing agony and decreasing tolerance.
Despoiling and dislodging of respect both ways.

Coffee beans and tannin-tamed tealeaves
Mixed together to create a childish disaster,
Stirring a cautioned mess multiple times
Causing utter chaos and disappointment.

Befuddling yet expected of a mother-daughter relationship.
Successful lugging on both their weaknesses and rage
Caused further confusion, disbelief, incomprehension,
Tunnelling inconspicuous suggestions; strictly apparent.

A painter would use shades of black and white:
Two opposing personas duelling at petty disagreements.
Using straight, ordinary lines to border the arguments
And harsh, bold lines to sketch the emotions expressed.

Apart, sociable. Together, sardonic.
Soon, the cables will snap and a burly brawl will commence.
Shattering the glass of protection and acceptance.
Staining the mirror of buoyancy with mockery and sarcasm.

Come day or night, time is no issue or obstacle to fight.
Come rain or sun, sunglasses and umbrellas cause no relief.
Come life or death, disturbances reveal stronger angry discourses
Come trees or water, mockery concludes the battle of life!

Let the brush take control; mirror and glass emerge,
And let this be the force for which this war shall end.
If words shant destroy their lives
Apathy and disillusionment should knock the nail.

"Traduce this anger, cries the world: their plea.
Both possess the strength and optimism to do so.
Trample pride, anger, distrust, anguish:
Introduce appreciation, value, honour and hope…"

A Lover’s Loss… (2004)

Autumn brown brings brushes,
Across the desert darkness.
Rusty, parched, lonely leaves,
Appeal to be harmless.
Television sound on full flare,
Seat next to you locks forsaken.
Your lover’s lost long-gone,
Wondering mind seems untaken.
Days seem longer, nights shorter,
Your heart feels strayed, so strayed.
Though family and friends keep the grin,
Shaken shivers sound somewhat afraid.
Will you ever hear his footsteps,
Anytime in the nearby future?
Or might it die a solemn story,
Remembered in a burnt scripture?
If the time is right, you will know
If love will soon again be found.
But, at the moment, please do not forget
That love is very round.
Keeping crowns upon your head
Might just as well be complex.
For thou art more in a lover’s life
Than one’s face to look so Perspex.
Hath thou heart been flattened by
Such harsh, hasty and hatred words?
Wilt and wither as you weep in bed
Then blossom and bloom with the birds.
Your heart shall not take such offence,
As it grows stronger every heartbreak.
If ever you to waltz white garments’ isles
Be it is the perfect couple you would make.
Do not let ghastly memories reside
Inside your mind’s eye, thou hath no bread,
No food for the soul, no drinks for your heart
Do not turn this day to one you might dread
Be happy forever, this I pray for you.
Turn that of a gloomy day, yellow from blue.

Brutal Beasts of Earth (2004)

Created in this little world of ours
Are miniature beasts of intense Greed.
They corrupt out sense of objectivity,
Which tend to chew into out self-creed.

Growing from beneath our epidermis
Are conniving convicts called Jealousy.
How they murder friendships and families
And create dissolute people, grudgingly.

The prowling, bloodthirsty monster of Arrogance
Poisons, causing controversy to the prey’s mind.
Developing into artificial class and personality.
It attacks the thinnest layer of our rind.

Our biggest fear is the pest of Dishonesty.
He rips into our pelt, deeply, leaving scars
Of favourable outcomes. You continue lying
Until you eventually get caught in the abattoir

Everyday, every one of these creatures gathers
Together. They commit delinquencies so rare,
The most ghastly criminals have nightmares!
Such hysterical delirium is utterly unfair!

The only possible way to demean such insects
Is to ignore the dark, foul voices they make.
We hear them in our heads everyday, every hour.
Pretend to acknowledge; this, anyone can fake

Shadowed Life (2009)

Assassins:
Mysterious, artful, poised;
Merciless, fearless, ruthless;
Mission-driven, perfectionists;
Admired and shunned.

He trusts only himself – he works alone –
And his blades.
He stealthily plans each motion,
Until his victim is slain, captured into shadow.

A job by day, a joy by night.
His work is an art to master.
A tricky treat to try yourself.

Driven by worldly peace, or self-indulgence;
A target is never to be missed.
A working plan; a patient man
Is who should pursue each shadow.

Fates of others are controlled by he,
Who has sworn his life to this blade.
He plays God with little to risk,
Cloaking his reputation.

Silent, discreet: a wise walker of streets.
Independent in mind and moral belief.
Every opportunity is precious: there is only one chance.
Execution is thus fatally vital.

Welcome
